Actor Ian Ziering reportedly attacked by mini-bikers in Hollywood

(KTLA) — Actor Ian Ziering, best known for his role in “Beverly Hills 90210,” appears to have been caught on camera in a fight with a group of people riding motorized mini bikes in Hollywood on New Year's Eve, according to a report from TMZ. Officers responded to the area of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue at around 3 p.m. Sunday on reports of a fight that broke out after the group of bikers were driving recklessly in the area, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Nexstar's KTLA. It is unclear what exactly prompted the brawl between Ziering and the bikers, but video posted by the tabloid outlet appears to show the actor pushing one of the mini-bike riders, who was right in front of what seems to be his SUV just before an all-out fight broke out. AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person is dead after a vehicle-pedestrian crash in north Austin early New Year's Day, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. The crash happened near 6500 N. Interstate 35 southbound, which is close to Huntland Drive. An adult died at the scene, according to ATCEMS. ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — Round Rock police are asking for help identifying an armed robbery suspect, the department said Sunday. The robbery happened Saturday at Mi Pueblito at 900 E. Palm Valley Blvd. in Round Rock. RRPD said officers responded at 7:45 p.m. and were told a Spanish-speaking man entered the business with a firearm and demanded money. A 4.1 magnitude earthquake shook the Los Angeles County area on New Year's Day.The temblor struck off the coast about 12 miles south of Rancho Palos Verdes and south-southwest of San Pedro at 8:27 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.3 but that was later reduced to 4.1 by the USGS. Shaking from the quake, which had a depth of just over 7 miles, was felt across the county.The New Year's Day magnitude 4.1 earthquake. Jan. 1, 2024.
